How We Started

Kiersten Lewis and Madissen Fujimoto grew up training intensely in classical ballet, developing a deep love for the art form from a very young age. As mothers, they spent years searching for a ballet studio in Rexburg that offered high-quality training for their own children, but they struggled to find one that met their standards. Faced with the prospect of traveling outside of Rexburg for quality ballet instruction, Kiersten and Madissen decided to create the solution themselves. And so, Ballet Etude Academy was born—a place where children and adults in Rexburg can receive exceptional ballet training and foster a lifelong love of dance.
